An old school football tournament for those who grew up loving the game
Before social media, before fantasy leagues and before expensive football shoes, there was only one ball, a company and the question that sounded in every neighborhood "Who plays today?". This very feeling brings back the OLD SCHOOL TOURNAMENT – ROAD TO WORLD CUP 2026.
On Sunday, June 28, 2026, YS Multi Stadium in Agios Athanasios Limassol hosts an old school miniature of the World Cup, full of intensity, passion, memories and authentic football action.
Inspired by FIFA World Cup 2026, the tournament brings together friends, teammates and football fans of all ages, in an event that combines the atmosphere of the neighborhood with the organization of a great sporting festival.
A total of 48 teams will be divided into 12 groups, representing countries from around the world, claiming discrimination through 5X5 Futsal matches, in a day full of thrills.
Races start at 9:00 in the morning, with a break between 13:00 - 15:00. The tournament is expected to end at 17:00.
In addition to the action within the stadium, OLD SCHOOL TOURNAMENT promises a complete experience for participants and spectators, with DJ music throughout the day, specially designed food and drink space, competitions and surprises for the public, as well as rich photographic and video material that will record the best moments of the event.
The program will be completed with the awards of cups and awards to the great protagonists of the day.
The prizes
1st Position: €1,500
2nd Position: Lunch at the tavern "The Steki", Limassol.
The slogan of the event is simple: Gather your company, pick a country and live your own course to the World Cup.
Because football isn't just goals and results. They are the friends who became a family, the endless afternoons on the courts, the stories told over and over and over and the moments that remain forever.
