Watermelon Dance returns with Vasiliki Hatziadamos in Akaki for an evening full of taste, music and fun

The favorite summer festival renews its date, with plenty of acaciotic watermelon, traditional music and a large feast in the village square
One of the most beloved summer events in the area is returning this year, again giving appointments with young and old people in Akakiou Square. The Watermelon Dance, now established as an institution, will take place on Saturday, July 25th, at 20:30, promising an evening full of music, flavors and summer mood.
The protagonist of the evening will, of course, be the famous acaciotic watermelon, which visitors will have the opportunity to enjoy in various forms, along with cool sweet watermelon and frozen cocktails, in a celebration dedicated to the favorite summer fruit.
The musical part of the event will be taken over by Vasiliki Hatziadamos, presenting a traditional program that will accompany the festival, while after the end of live music will follow after party, keeping the fun unabated until late.
The event is organized by the Gymnastics Association "Ellinism" Akakiou, with the support of the Community Council of Akaki and is under the auspices of the Ministry of Interior.
The participation price, including food, is set at 20 euros, while for reservations the public can communicate at 99495064.
With plenty of watermelon, traditional music, dance and summer atmosphere, the Watermelon Dance is expected to be one of the most special celebrations of this summer, gathering visitors from all over Cyprus.
