Minthis Music Festival 2026 continues on 11 July with a separate lyrical evening, hosting internationally acclaimed Austrian deep voice Günther Groissböck, in partnership with La Scala's distinguished pianist, Nelson Calzi.
Groissböck is among the top voices of his time, having been established in the scenes of the most important lyrical theatres worldwide, such as the Vienna State Opera, the New York Metropolitan Opera, the Royal Opera of London (Royal Opera House) and the Bayreuth Festival.
Groissböck has worked with leading conductors of international range, including Daniel Barrenboim and Christian Thielemann, while his interpretations in works by Wagner and Strauss have extracted excellent reviews from the international press, establishing him as one of the most important performers of the German repertoire. He stands out for his imposing voice, his dramatic presence and his interpretive penetratingness, elements that give particular depth and sign language density to each appearance.
