Music, gastronomy, wellness workshops and purchase with lavender products compose the program of Levantas Festival in the central square of Platres.
With lavender flavor and a rich program for all ages, Platres welcome on Sunday, July 5, the Levantas Festival 2026, inviting residents and visitors to a full day celebration dedicated to one of the most characteristic aromatic plants of Cypriot nature.
From 11:00 to 20:00, the main square of the village will host musical events, experiential workshops, wellness actions and a large market with handmade products and culinary creations based on lavender.
The music program starts at 11:00 with a tribute to lavender and Platres, continues in the afternoon with live music from guitars and bouzouki, while at 18:00 sunset will accompany a special saxophone appearance.
Of particular interest are gastronomic workshops, where visitors will experience the use of lavender in sweets, truffles, bites, refreshing drinks and cocktails, highlighting its unique flavor and aroma.
At the same time, activities of wellness will operate in the festival area, such as lavender treatments, hair care and relaxing massage, while Levantenia Market will host 32 exhibitors with cosmetics, candles, crafts, works of art and local products based on lavender.
Levantas Festival aspires to offer an integrated experience combining nature, tradition, gastronomy and culture, highlighting Platres as one of Cyprus' favorite summer destinations.
