"The balloon" and "The Country of Yes" by Savva Vorkas are presented to Kornos, inviting young and old to a theatre night with free entrance
The Delitheatro invites the audience to a special theatrical evening, presenting the works "The Aerostera" and "The Country of Yes" by Savva Vorkas, on Sunday 5 July 2026, at 20:15, at the Amphitheatre of the refugee settlement of Kornos.
The two performances, starring the small actors of Delietheatro, carry important social and humanitarian messages through the power of theatre. The "A balloon" travels the audience to worlds full of imagination, adventure and symbolism, highlighting values such as kindness, solidarity and the need for a better world. On the other hand, "The Country of Yes" is a modern allegory for overconsumption and greed, recalling the importance of love, measure and real values in life.
The performance takes place with free entrance, as an offer from the Municipality of Lefkada and the Municipal District of Kornos, offering young and old people the opportunity to enjoy an evening full of creation, emotion and important messages.
