Cyprus songs, poetry, fairy tales and folklore accounts bring to life the beauty of summer, at the Municipal Museum of Engraving Hampi in Nicosia, with free entrance
On Saturday, July 4th, when it is well in the summer, come to the Municipal Museum of Engraving Hampi in Nicosia to celebrate together the passage of nature and people in the summer, during the long summer season.
Nicoletta Dimitriou (song), Christina Polykarpus (lyra), Simeon Mercouris (lauto) and Christos Isidoru (pithkiaulin, lafta) will lead us to a musical, poetic and narrative journey, through Cypriot songs, poems, stories and fairy tales that reflect, celebrate and praise the summer.
The event, which is part of the action "Songs and fairy tales in the museum", is co-organized by the Municipal Museum of Engraving Hampi and the Archive of Cyprus Music, with the support of the Science Research Centre.
"The summer" is the third in order of four events, dealing with the change of seasons in Cyprus through music, poetry, fairy tales and folklore.
The show is suitable for adults.
