In two major summer concerts-a tribute to Dionysis Savvopoulos
In the magical setting of the Ancient Conservatory of Kato Pafos, the Pafos Music School is preparing to present two major summer concerts-a tribute, on 3 and 4 July 2026, in an institution already presupposed as one of the most important cultural events of the year.
The two evenings are dedicated to the unique work of the great Greek creator Dionysis Savvopoulos, an artist who sealed with his poetry, meditation and music the modern Greek songmaking. Through its melodies and lyrics, the audience will travel to times, emotions and social references that remain topical and alive.
More than 120 students and teachers of the Paphos Music School will be found on the stage, proving in practice the high level of artistic education and collective effort that characterizes the school. The presence of a symphony and folk orchestra, combined with a multi-member choir, promises a rich, dynamic and deeply touching sound result.
The performer Eleni Tsaligopoulou, who with her characteristic sensitivity and strength in voice, will "dress" the songs with new life, bridging the past with the present and creating moments of unique music magic.
Pafos Music School proves once again that it is a beacon of culture and artistic creation, giving its students the opportunity to stand next to accomplished professionals and experience the great scene in a meaningful and inspired way.
The choice of space could not be more ideal: the imposing Ancient Conservatory of Kato Pafos, with its historical aura and excellent acoustics, turns into a natural setting of a musical journey that promises to be unforgettable to all attendees.
This is a cultural experience that goes beyond the limits of a simple concert. It is a celebration of Greek music, youth creativity and collective expression. Two nights where art meets education and tradition meets the future.
Those who are there will not just attend a concert; They will become part of a live musical feast that will accompany them long after the last note.
