YUMA is a vibrant fusion between Europe and Latin America, linking Berlin and Paris to the soundscapes of the Latin American continent.
On stage, exceptional Latin musicians accompany a repertoire that touches both heart and body. A musical Cuba Libre: European nostalgia, Latin rhythms and a delicate Andean touch.
An artist between several cultures. Driven by singer, author and composer Sylvia Mund, YUMA is a project between worlds. Of German origin and based in Paris, Sylvia develops an international trajectory, from funk to jazz, before returning to her first passion: Latin American music. She regularly performs in Peru and today spreads her project between Europe and Latin America.
Original compositions, Latin American standards and specially Peruvian revisited, and German cabaret songs rearranged in Cuban colors: YUMA creates a unique, warm and elegant musical dialogue.
