The Père-Lachaise cemetery is known for being the cemetery of celebrities. Yet this immense necropolis also hosts many unknown, overlooked, and especially forgotten people, even though they contributed to science, literature… Some have also left sinister memories. Sometimes you have to go down the small paths to discover the simple grave of a woman with illustrious discoveries whose name has fallen into oblivion, or to discover the unusual grave of a lion trainer.
I invite you on a journey to (re)discover the Père-Lachaise cemetery. Together, we will make a true exploration off the main paved avenues, in search of the forgotten ones of Père-Lachaise, discovering unusual graves; we will also talk about the history of the cemetery: why is it called that? Why such an attraction?
A visit far from the city's turmoil, in one of the most exceptional places in the capital.
