Eiffel Tower illumination
To open the festivities, the Eiffel Tower will be adorned with the colours of the event on Friday, July 3rd at 11 p.m.
Sport in Honour
Initiation to football flag - Saturday 4 July, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. - Parc Rives de Seine (Paris Centre)
Organized with the French American Football Federation, this free and open-ended animation is an opportunity to discover this practice that will be for the first time Olympic discipline at the Los Angeles 2028 Olympic Games.
NBA Summer House - From 31 July to 2 August, at the Palais Brongniart (Paris Centre).
This is the first French edition of the event, co-organized by the NBA and the French basketball federation, free and accessible on pre-registration.
Exhibitions in public space
"Coney Island" - Presented from July 4 to 30 on the Seine Berges, right bank. An exhibition in honour of Brooklyn's iconic beach.
"Urban Beaches: USA" - Photographs immortalized by National Geographic photographers. Presented from 4 July to 30 August on the Berges de Seine (Paris Centre).
"Paris, USA" - Presented from 15 July to 30 August, on the grids of the Hôtel de Ville (Paris Centre). A nod to American cities called "Paris".
Two exhibitions carried by the Embassy of the United States of America in France:
Paris Match Exhibition - Retrospective dedicated to Franco-American friendship through current photographs — as early as 1 July in the square on the United States Square (16th).
Aquarelles by Marielle Durand - Paintings dedicated to Philadelphia, cradle of American independence, presented in front of the Paris Match exhibition - from July 1st in the square located on the square of the United States (16th).
Temporary exhibition at the Musée Carnavalet
« 1776-2026 : 250 years of Franco-American friendship » - From 16 December 2025 to 27 September 2026, at the Musée Carnavalet (Paris Centre), free and accessible to all. A clash within the permanent collections of the Musée de l'histoire de Paris, illustrating the friendship between Paris and Philadelphia, the first capital of the United States.
Fanfare of New Orleans at the Tropical Carnival in Paris
For its 26th edition, the Tropical Carnival dates back to the Champs-Élysées (8th) on Sunday, July 5, celebrating the Overseas and world cultures. As an echo to America 250, a New Orleans band will resonate with the brass of Louisiana's second line, Cha Wa accompanied by the New Orleans French Connection band — a musical union between France and America, from the French Louisiana with shared Creole roots.
