Normalien, agrégé of philosophy, writer and screenwriter, Ollivier Pourriol has been developing for several years an original approach that puts great works of cinema in dialogue with the great texts of thought.
From one or several film(s), he invites the public to explore the philosophical, political or existential questions hidden behind the images: desire, freedom, power, courage, identity, justice or even the relationship to truth. Far from a lecture, each session takes the form of a lively conversation between cinema and philosophy, where the works become tools to better understand our era and our own experiences as human beings.
An invitation to watch the films we love differently and to make cinema a place of collective reflection.
