Nicosia Book Fest celebrates 11 years in the Acropolis Park, with more than 100 booths, authors, presentations, workshops and the Honored Country Spain
On October 9 the Official Opening Ceremony takes place, the exhibition spaces of Nicosia Book Fest operate on Saturday and Sunday October 10 and 11.
Nicosia Book Fest completes eleven years of dynamic presence. Since 2016, with the initiative of the Institute of Research Promitheas, a system was created and established that today is the most significant festival for books and literature in Cyprus, a living meeting place for authors, publishers, artists and readers. In this journey, thousands of visitors shared experiences that cultivated a love for books and enhanced dialogue around the arts, books and culture.
At Nicosia Book Fest 2026 more than 100 booths of publishing houses, bookstores, cultural organizations and educational institutions participate, offering the public the opportunity to discover thousands of book titles.
The program includes over 100 events on all stages and venues of the festival:

Book presentations, discussions, theatrical readings, concerts, visual arts actions and creative workshops for all ages.
A special place is held by the rich cultural program of the opening ceremony, which this year draws inspiration from Spain, the Honored Country of the festival!
