An afternoon celebration dedicated to one of the most beloved flavors of Cypriot tradition
September is the month of the cheese pie and the palouze has its honor. On Saturday, September 12, the village of Dóra in the Limassol district invites residents and visitors to the Palouze Festival, a celebration full of traditional flavors, music, and beautiful moments.
From 6:00 PM, the village square will fill with the aromas of freshly made palouze, which will be offered for free to visitors. The festive atmosphere will be complemented by live music, creating the perfect occasion for an afternoon outing in the Cypriot countryside.
A simple and authentic gathering that honors the local recipes and the tradition that continues to bring people together around a pot of warm palouze.
