The 3rd Rebetiko Song Festival returns dynamically, renewing its meeting with friends of authentic folk music and Greek cultural tradition. From October 8 to October 11, 2026, Limassol will host a four‑day event full of music, emotion and stories that have marked generations.
This year’s event will take place at the Patras Municipal Theatre of Limassol and will open on October 8 and 9 with the performance “Rebetiko,” starring George Dalaras, one of the most important interpreters of Greek song, who has linked his name with the dissemination and promotion of rebetiko in Greece and abroad.
The musical celebration will continue on October 10 and 11, when the festival will move to outdoor venues, offering the audience traditional rebetiko evenings with live music, authentic atmosphere and the unique aesthetic that characterizes the genre.
The Rebetiko Song Festival has now become an important cultural institution, highlighting the history and evolution of rebetiko, a musical genre that is an integral part of Greek cultural heritage and continues to move people of all ages.
