On September 27, 2026, the picturesque village of Lofou will host the 36th traditional Palouze Festival—one of Cyprus’s most heartwarming fall events, celebrating grapes, local traditions, and Cypriot hospitality.

Guests can look forward to a true celebration of Cypriot village life:
— free tastings of fresh palouze until 6:00 p.m.;
— a rich program featuring traditional Cypriot music;
— a performance by Stefanos Pelekanis’s band;
— traditional grape pressing;
— a special children’s area with entertainment for the little ones.
The festival will be held in memory of Savvas and Stella Theofanous.
The organizers invite you to spend a pleasant September day with the whole family—try authentic traditional palouze, learn about Cypriot customs, listen to music, and simply enjoy the atmosphere of historic Lofou.
