OH HIROSHIMA
Born from the particularly fertile Scandinavian post‑rock scene, Oh Hiroshima has forged a reputation by turning introspection into vast, cinematic soundscapes. Over the past decade, the Swedish duo has refined a musical language that balances fragility with crushing emotional power.
Originally formed more than 15 years ago, the current lineup of Oh Hiroshima consists of brothers Jakob Hemström (guitar/vocals) and Oskar Nilsson (drums). Since their debut in 2011, the band has released a series of critically acclaimed albums, gradually expanding their universe beyond post‑rock roots and establishing themselves on the international stage.
In 2026, Oh Hiroshima returns with And the Dead Tree Gives No Shelter, continuing their exploration of tension, atmosphere and intensity, with a renewed desire to bring the full dimension of these songs to the stage.

BARRENS
For fans of Mono, PG.LOST, Caspian, Mogwai, This Will Destroy You, Russian Circles, Pelican, Scraps Of Tape, God Is An Astronaut
The powerful post‑rock trio from Gothenburg/Malmö, Barrens, returns with Corpse Lights, the band's second album after their debut opus Penumbra, critically acclaimed in 2020.
Resulting from five years of work, Corpse Lights sees Barrens achieve a striking balance between light and darkness, beauty and brutality, calm and chaos, as the three long‑time friends further hone their impressive mastery of composition and dynamics.
Listening to Barrens, it becomes evident that Markku Hildén, Johan G. Winther and Kenta Jansson had already played and toured together before forming the band. In 2018, Markku joined Scraps of Tape, Johan and Kenta's side project, as a live drummer for two European tours and a tour in China. Recognizing an obvious chemistry immediately, the foundations of what would become Barrens were sketched out in countless vans, trains, planes and bars during their travels around the world.
Back home, the trio wasted no time and quickly turned their collection of notes and motifs into demos. The result was Penumbra, a dense, elegant and passionate collection of synth‑driven post‑rock instrumental tracks that bore no resemblance to a debut album from a newly formed band. Penumbra rather documents the birth of an indelible bond between three like‑minded creative spirits, now lifelong friends.
