During these four days, we will explore different techniques of ceramic decoration: engobes, sgraffito, mishima, mixed land, stencil and stamping.
As a first step, the participants will make test coats and small decorated plates to discover and experiment with these processes.
In a second stage, each will develop a small series of 5 to 6 utility or decorative objects, which will be decorated using one of the techniques studied during the course.
Note
The pieces cannot be cooked until the end of the internship.
Participants will therefore have to plan to return later.
The work of the enamels will not be discussed during this internship.
We will focus exclusively on the decor techniques mentioned above.
Prerequisites
Some notions of modeling and drawing or illustration are an asset, but this internship is still accessible to beginners.
