Knowledge of color is one of the fundamentals of the artist profession and artistic crafts. An artist or craftsman must be able to analyze it, compose, convey and talk about it. Color is studied.
By training methodically, the eye can expand its field of perception.
Based on the teachings of Johannes Itten, professor of Bauhaus, you will study the theory of 7 contrasts, learn to use various colors, restructure existing tone and harmonize composition.
Thus, you will be able to answer various questions that arise during work and create your own tones.
Performing a series of exercises and creating various color samples will allow you to support your various projects.
The exercises will be reinforced with examples of paintings and completed works.
Technical sheets will be distributed or announced during the internship
This course offers a comprehensive study of color through theory (color wheel, Itten contrasts) and practice (mixes, color samples, tone matching).
Participants experiment with color harmonies, contrasts and tone variations, using step‑by‑step exercises and concrete implementations.
Thus, they develop a more confident mastery of colors and painting techniques.
