How can toddlers be made aware of the preservation of ecosystems?
,
This is the question that the artist Sarah Bazire worked on during her residency with children from 5 months to 3 years of age, as well as with the professional team of the Northern Source Nursery and the Naguib Mahfuz Library.
It seems to me that to take care, we must first know and look at what we want to preserve.
Sarah Bazire,
Lying, on four legs or standing, children explore biodiversity at their height and hear stories about all these lives around them, in and around the Seine.
If time permits, this animation will take place on the lawns of the Parc de Belleville and will be the occasion for further discoveries, in partnership with the team of gardeners.
This animation is part of the "Art for Growth" program
A graduate of a master's degree in "Practiques de l'exposition" (Beaux-Arts de Caen et Bruxelles) and a professional degree in Book Crafts, Specialty Libraries and Documentation, Sarah Bazire is particularly interested in the link between narratives, books and exhibitions, the reading that engages the body, the gesture reading that mobilizes all senses.
His research and residence have been interested in the cognitive mechanisms of the toddler, how one can conduct a scientific mediation with them through imagination, book and image.
