Sonya Pinçon, a singer from Rennes, and her jazz trio pay tribute to the legendary pianist Horace Silver, inventor of “Bop & Latin Blues”. Recognized for her voice with soul accents and her charisma, Sonya takes you on a unique musical journey, celebrating the legacy of this great master of jazz. On piano, Ludovic de Preissac, arranger and pianist of the great Parisian jazz clubs (1st prize in piano, winner of Jazz à la Défense), has played and recorded with saxophonist Bob Mintzer and clarinetist Eddie Daniels. He is also the author of several albums, including West Side Story and Les Paradoxes de l’instinct. On double bass, Cédric Caillaud, accompanist notably of China Moses, Thomas Dutronc and Scott Hamilton. On drums, Stéphane Stanger, graduate of CMCN, teacher at the Conservatory of Rennes, jazz and blues musician.
