His timbral versatility and his great curiosity for repertoires inspire him to off‑track projects. In the footsteps of Bruce Chatwin, writer of nomadic lives who documented the “sung itineraries” of Australia’s aborigines, Marc Mauillon creates his own vocal cosmogony made of medieval figures and composers of the XXe and XXIe centuries.
