September Indian, Menilmontant's 100% free music festival returns on September 19 and 20

After
four widely applauded editions that were able to gather well beyond the
neighborhood, the fifth edition of the September Indian festival is looming.
It will be
on Saturday 19 September from noon to midnight and on Sunday 20 September from 1 p.m. to 8 p.m. on the Place Maurice Chevalier, between Belleville and Ménilmontant, in the
20th arrondissement of Paris
One
festival 100% volunteer and fully free access.
One
20 artists with eclectic musical horizons on three scenes around
a place like the Parisians like them: Maurice Chevalier Square,
facing the Church of Our Lady of the Cross. Rock, pop, rap, song
French, reggae, dub, samba, choirs...
In
parallel to the concerts: socially and locally engaged associations,
local designers, a children's stand, schools in the neighbourhood for
decoration... are also present on a village of stands.
And the
fabulous drink from the Indian September team that serves as real pints.
Without
forget about sound technology, two key partners:
ENS Louis-Lumière and BTS Audiovisual Jacques Prévert.
