A must-see figure on the jazz scene, Sébastien Joulie continues the tradition of post-bop jazz on guitar, from Jimmy Raney to Grant Green, and Peter Bernstein, with whom he studied in New York. Composer and arranger, he has already released four albums under his name on the prestigious Fresh Sound New Talent Records label, bringing together the greatest names in international jazz (Walter Smith III in 2013) and French (Pierre de Bethmann in 2017).
He practises jazz rooted in its organic and committed dimension, dominated by resolutely modern sounds. Note that his latest album, LOADED, released at the end of 2024, was unanimously hailed by critics and received the Choc Jazz magazine
