Alone with oneself. Or rather with who he was. From his sixty-nine years old, Krapp listens to magnetic tapes on which since the age of twenty, he recorded his voice. Like a diary, but audible. Fourteen years ago, Stephen Rea, a great actor, one of the last to have worked directly with the author, recorded on his own initiative the words of the young hero in the hypothesis that later he might have the opportunity to play the play. By offering him to fulfill his dream, the producer had a brilliant idea that this show reflects, making it as captivating as poetic and sensitive.
