With its laboratory C.A.L.I.P.S.O., dedicated to dance in the digital environment, Chaillot takes a leading position in new artistic forms and declares its ambition: to invent the stage of tomorrow, expand access to culture, and celebrate choreographic creation in France and beyond.
A house of creativity, experimentation and dissemination, Chaillot accompanies major changes in live performance and supports artists in their boldest investigations. At the intersection of art and innovation, the theatre develops new formats that integrate immersive technologies, virtual reality, digital environments and artificial intelligence, opening dance to new, previously unknown experiences.

The C.A.L.I.P.S.O. laboratory relies on an ecosystem of leading partners that combine artistic creation, technological innovation and academic research. Developed in collaboration with Lucid Realities, Unframed Collection, TMNlab and Université Paris 8, the project brings together artists, researchers and experts in immersive technologies around a common goal: to explore how virtual reality and digital tools can transform choreographic writing, refresh stage presentation and invent new relationships with the audience. Together they work to make Chaillot a major centre of immersive creation in France and beyond.
