Edgar Degas made a painting entitled Miss Lala at the Fernando Circus in 1879. There is an aerial artist hanging by the jaw in the heights of the metal structure of this hard circus. The Fernando circus was at the time a high place of the Parisian circus.
Who was Miss Lala?
The Silk Yarn Cie has embarked on a documentary circus work that will make visible the work of women circus artists.
She would like to share, in this stage of work, an excerpt from the small Mariannetic form being created, a musical time around the barbaric organ and a time of presentation of Olga Brown known as Miss Lala.
