The pianist Ramona Horvath and the saxophonist Lisa Cat-Berro gather their musical universes in a quartet unreleased around a repertoire dedicated to the great composers of jazz history, long in the shadows or insufficiently recognized. Through the works of Mary Lou Williams, Ann Ronell, Carla Bley, Maria Grever, Kay Swift, and other major figures, the quartet pays tribute to these creators who have deeply influenced the history of music. The program is also enriched with original compositions by Ramona Horvath and Lisa Cat-Berro, offering a natural dialogue between heritage and contemporary creation. Worn by four musicians with a strong personality, this evolving training explores a meeting space where sensibilities respond, interlace and enrich each other. Between lyricism, freedom, complicity and improvisation, each concert becomes a living experience, nourished by listening and inspiration of the moment. An evening under the sign of discovery, emotion and musical alchemy... with, at every moment, the promise of beautiful surprises.
