A bold revenge thriller with a stormy pace
The story of "Motor City" takes place in Detroit in the 1970s and follows a former convict who, after his release, returns determined to take revenge on those who betrayed him and deprived him of the life he dreamed of.
The film, directed by Potsy Ponciroli, is a bold action thriller starring Alan Ritchson with Shailene Woodley, Ben Foster, Pablo Schreiber rounding out the cast. Stormy pace, hard-hitting action, intense atmosphere, minimal dialogue, stylized visual aesthetic and captivating music.
The rhythm, music and sound design of the film — with the signature of Jack White, a 12‑Grammy‑winning founder of the White Stripes — elevate the tension and emotional pulse of the story.
