An essential work of 20th-century music, the opera by George and Ira Gershwin had to cease to inspire jazz musicians.
On the occasion of the 90th anniversary of the creation of Porgy & Bess, saxophonist Philippe Chagne and pianist Rémi Toulon offer an intimate and personal rereading. With a long-standing complicity and more than 1500 concerts in France and Europe, this project surprises with the richness of its sound textures and appropriates the timeless melodies of Porgy & Bess with virtuosity, humor and a joy to play particularly communicative!
