In the modern concept proposed by Laurent Dupont, a symphony of crumpled paper signifies the union of music and visual art. A creation that is simultaneously auditory and visual, Plis/Sons — is a play of mirrors between hearing and touch: folded, smoothed, crumpled, pressed, stretched, torn, a sheet of paper can form a voice and a gesture, while the machine captures, transforms, modulates, shapes and reproduces sound.
Thanks to pieces of cardboard, several sheets of paper, a small light and an electro‑acoustic device, the troupe Acta creates an original stage installation that allows the very youngest to discover musical theatre. Light and fragile sculptures are suspended in a poetic space; they can be watched just as they can be listened to, during sleep.
