After 9 records as a leader unanimously hailed by the press in this 10th album, Eric Séva pays tribute to his musical roots: jazz, blues and French popular music. Influences that continue to inspire his artistic curiosity, guided by the thread of improvisation and interplay.
Around a singular instrumentarium, he will compose and arrange a new repertoire consisting of compositions and several times, "madeleines de Proust sonores".
While Eric has always favoured jazz and improvisation in his career, it is precisely because it is the essence of mixedness and freedom, making him an artist with a different water, in the colours of diversity and encounters. No surprise, then, to discover that the words crossing, crossing or mixing go through his projects and scores.
