Women and men aged 88, 90, 95. Residents of EHPAD. And yet, on September 25, 2026 at 6:30 pm, they will be on the stage of Théâtre Le 13e Art in Paris, alongside professional artists and caregivers, in Miroir Miroir, an intergenerational choreographic piece imagined by Cécile Combaret and Tarek Aït Meddour.
Miroir Miroir will be performed only once in Paris.
A single date, at Théâtre Le 13e Art, for a rare, demanding, intergenerational and deeply alive creation.
The youngest performer is 24 years old. The oldest is 96.
On Friday, September 25 at 6:30 pm, they will dance together in front of 900 people on the stage of Théâtre Le 13e Art.
On September 25 Miroir Miroir will come to life. 15 residents of EHPAD aged 88 to 96, professional dancers and caregivers, gathered in a 50‑minute choreographic creation signed by Tarek Aït Meddour, choreographer and former dancer of the Opéra de Paris and the Royal Opera of London, and Cécile Combaret, Artistic Director.
Created in Lyon in 2025 and selected for the Biennale de la Danse, the piece arrives in Paris carried by Groupe ACPPA, in partnership with the Centre d'Action Sociale de la Ville de Paris and three institutions: Péan (13e), Furtado Heine (14e) and L'Orée du Bois (77).
