The lyrical compositions of the distinguished pianist meet Led Zeppelin, the Doors, Beethoven and Morricone, in a concert where jazz converses with classical and international music.
Pianist and composer Stavros Lantsias explores the expressive possibilities of the classic jazz form, the piano trio, and meets on stage with three of the most important Greek musicians of his generation: Michalis Kalkanis, Michalis Kapilidis and Babis Tyropoulos, as a guest musician.
A distinctive musical program, where Lantsias' lyrical compositions coexist with unexpected arrangements of works by Led Zeppelin, The Doors, Ludwig van Beethoven and Ennio Morricone, creating a creative dialogue between contemporary jazz, classical music and international musical creation. Improvisation and the constant interaction of the musicians are key elements of their interpretive approach, giving each performance the character of a unique musical meeting.
The program reflects the ongoing exchange of ideas and aesthetics that characterizes the Mediterranean cultural space, highlighting its vibrant relationship with the European and international music scene.
