Nocturne (Parade) unfolds like an odyssey of darkness toward the light, guided by the movement of the air. In a circular, immersive space, the wind animates anthropomorphic puppets that stand before us in a fascinating musical ballet. The stage immerses us in unstable landscapes, subject to an invisible force that imposes its rhythm and redistributes balances. An untamable and unsettling world appears, gradually becoming the sensitive reflection of our era, crossed by deep political upheavals.
The fourth installment of “Pièces du Vent”, Nocturne (Parade) confirms the singular talent of the Nantes artist. Aimed at children as well as adults, it signs a political and powerful theatre, where wonder gives rise to an awakened way of thinking about the world.
