'Never Stop Looking Up' is a 3-day international astrophotography event in Nicosia, Cyprus, hosted at The Cyprus Planetarium from 11 to 13 September 2026, running 17:00–23:00 each day. Co-organised by The Cyprus Planetarium and AstroVerce Cyprus Astronomy Club, the event brings together five internationally recognised astrophotographers for talks, workshops, hands-on field sessions, and panel discussions. Whether you are picking up a camera for the first time or are a seasoned deep-sky imager, this experience is designed to inspire and educate at every level. 🌌
🎟️ Ticket prices start from €30.00 (up to €120.00).
Day 1 (Friday) focuses on community — welcome drinks, an opening ceremony, speaker introductions and the 'Stories Behind Stars' opening conversation. Day 2 (Saturday) is the most action-packed: morning talks and workshops at the Planetarium Dome and Amphitheatre are followed by a field trip to Amiandos Astropark in the Troodos Mountains for live telescope setup, real night-sky observation, and guided stargazing under dark skies. Day 3 (Sunday) rounds off the experience with advanced talks, smart telescope demonstrations, thematic panel discussions — including Women in Astrophotography and the Future of Astrophotography — and a closing ceremony.

A: No. The event welcomes complete beginners through to advanced imagers. Live gear showcases and demonstrations are part of the programme.
Q: Is the Amiandos Astropark session outdoors?
A: Yes. The field experience takes place at Amiandos Astropark in the Troodos Mountains. Bring warm layers, as mountain temperatures can drop noticeably on September nights.
