Art for Life’s Sake at Marina Agia Napa with all proceeds going to support the Oncology Center of Bank of Cyprus
The Art for Life’s Sake initiative brings artist Peter Tooby to Marina Agia Napa on Friday, September 18, 2026, for a charitable visual art exhibition aimed at supporting the Oncology Center of Bank of Cyprus. For one evening only, the public will have the opportunity to discover a representative collection of Peter Tooby’s work, including paintings, drawings and photographic prints on canvas. About 50 works will be presented and available for sale, with all proceeds offered to the Oncology Center of Bank of Cyprus.
The exhibition will take place at the Event Center of Marina Agia Napa, from 7:00 PM to 10:00 PM, and will be open to the public. Marina Agia Napa co‑organizes the exhibition as part of its ongoing support for social‑impact initiatives that connect culture with meaningful social purposes.
Art for Life’s Sake was founded in 2014 by a small group of artists sharing a common passion for the visual arts and a shared desire to use their creativity to support people affected by cancer. Through the sale of original works and prints, the initiative has supported Cancer Research UK, bolstering efforts related to treatment and patient care.
Peter Tooby has been involved in the initiative since its early years. After more than two decades in business and a serious health ordeal that decisively shaped his path, he chose to devote more time to art, approaching life and everyday experience from different perspectives through his work.
For the exhibition in Cyprus, he selected the Oncology Center of Bank of Cyprus as the beneficiary of the donation.
Commenting on the exhibition, Peter Tooby said: “Cancer touches almost every family and every circle of friends. Through this exhibition, I hope to bring people together through art and raise resources that will support the treatment and care of people facing cancer. Every work that is sold will strengthen the Oncology Center of Bank of Cyprus and I hope people will stand with us in this effort.”
