A special evening dedicated to the Moon, its phases and the stories that accompany it awaits us on Saturday, September 26 at the Church of Prophet Elijah in Agriada.
An Evening Under the Moon organized by the Cyprus Planetarium invites us to leave the hustle and bustle of everyday life behind for a moment and look up, in an experience that combines knowledge, nature, taste and stargazing.
The evening will be dedicated to the Moon, with interesting references to its phases and the stories and myths that have been linked to it over time.
Then, the experience will shift to a more relaxed pace, with wine and delicacies, while the night will culminate with observation of the night sky through telescopes.
Participants will have the opportunity to observe the Moon, Saturn and other bright celestial bodies, weather conditions and visibility permitting.
In a beautiful setting in Agriada, under the star‑filled sky and with the Moon starring, it is a different evening outing that combines astronomy with enjoyment and the relaxed atmosphere of the mountain.
