A new festival dedicated to tradition, Cypriot flavor, and the beloved teratsomelo is coming to take us on a journey to a village in Paphos
The 1st Teratsomelo Festival will take place on Saturday, October 3, 2026, inviting young and old to a special day full of tradition, culture, flavors, and experiential experiences.
At the heart of the festival are the charopi and the teratsomelo, a product inseparably linked to Cypriot gastronomic tradition. Visitors will have the opportunity to learn more about its history and significance, as well as enjoy it through traditional delicacies and creations.
The program will include Cypriot dances and music, traditional flavors, as well as experiential workshops for young and old, through which participants will be able to create and get to know the local tradition up close.
With the slogan tradition, culture, flavor, and experiences, the festival aims to highlight teratsomelo, charopi, and the cultural heritage of Pano Akourdalia, in a celebration for the whole family.
