As Pitchfork writes about the band, this Swedish lineup of five former classmates creates “marginal music”, and the pages of *För Allting* reveal an incessant and unshakable need to explore. *För Allting* marks a new beginning: it is the band's first recording to have a producer (Hannes Ferm of HOLY). Delving further into an identity that will never be fully grasped, every second of *För Allting* brings something unprecedented from the band. It features drum machines, synthesizers, and a joyful, shimmering self-awareness: what they ultimately create is dream pop for realists. Makthaverskan isn’t afraid to confront the contradictions between beauty and rage; on the contrary, they turn them into something completely new.
