Shamanism has long run through Lucie Antunes's work, as a source of inspiration both artistic and personal. With Silence, she draws on this influence to explore trance through the repetition of rhythm: a pulse that settles, transforms and eventually captures all attention. In direct contact with the music, Mathilde Monnier plays with the rises and falls of rhythmic intensities to offer another experience of time, between excessive slowness and frantic agitation.
Created this summer during the 80e edition of the Festival d’Avignon, Silence fits within the continuity of Lucie Antunes's work, accompanied for several years by CENTQUATRE-PARIS where she is an associate artist. For ten years, the musician has been staging shows in collaboration with choreographers and artists from different fields. This taste for interdisciplinary exchanges is reaffirmed with Silence, third album released on 12 juin 2026.
