The Lamoureux Orchestra, in its “baby‑concert” format, presents a panorama of the world’s carnivals: the joyful brass bands of the Dunkirk carnival, the elegant minuets of the Venice Carnival, the exotic dances of the court balls of the Kingdom of France, the sambas and Batucada of the Rio carnival, not to mention children’s favorite carnival: the animal carnival! The orchestra with its strings, woodwinds, brass and percussion will don its festive costume to make its very young audience dance!
