From a very young age, she becomes passionate about dance and knows she wants to make it her profession. At eight, her failure at the entrance competition of the École de danse de l’Opéra de Paris marks a first crack. Soline doesn't give up: she doubles her demands, shapes her body and pushes her limits, even at the risk of endangering her health. Without realizing it, her parents overlook her growing distress. Soline will be a dancer! And what if her balance now lies elsewhere than in dance?
Armelle Gouget puts into words, with humor and modesty, her intimate experience as a former classical dancer forced to interrupt her career. Pascal Sangla accompanies this reading with music, in a funny and hopeful piece.
