This concert weaves a sonic bridge between Le Seigneur des Anneaux and Ring sans Paroles, where heroic motifs, dramatic tensions and orchestral climates reveal parallel universes. The orchestra becomes the thread that links Valhalla and the Shire, gods and hobbits, heroes and giants, in an epic and lyrical breath.
Orchestral surges, dramatic accents and sonic colors reveal surprising correspondences: rides, whispers and tragedies intertwine, while brass, strings and percussion sculpt legendary landscapes. Listening to Wagner and Shore side by side allows one to perceive how motifs, dynamics and orchestral textures answer each other, revealing that great epics share common forms and energies.
Like an echo to these works, Invitation au voyage, a small illumination, will surprise the listener and extend the musical dialogue between Wagner and Tolkien, offering a final flash of light and legend.
