Eric Rohmer's cinema would be outdated? Bourgeois? Poorly acted? Come dust off preconceived ideas and rediscover, through an analysis that is both playful and sharp, a filmography that is more pop and whimsical than it seems, where Arielle Dombasle's music videos sit alongside the great classic auteurs.
Journalist Gregory Coutaut spoke with several regular collaborators of the director (Marie Rivière, Béatrice Romand) to take a look at an unparalleled body of work that continues to inspire and influence young filmmakers around the world.
