Lakkirtín Fest returns to the Ethnographic Museum of Avgoru on 19 July 2026 — a one-day open-air festival of traditional Cypriot music, circle dances, and live glendi. Schedule available.
Lakkirtín Fest is a beloved open-air festival of traditional Cypriot music and dance held in Avgoru, Famagusta district, Cyprus, on Sunday 19 July 2026. The evening brings together lyres, violins, lutes, tambourines, and drums for an authentic celebration of Cypriot folk tradition. Join the community for circle dances, free dances, and a full live glendi under the summer sky.
🎟️ Ticket prices start from €12 (Glenti entry).
The festival opens with a Patinada — a roaming musical procession through the village starting at 18:00, where all musicians are welcome to join. The main Glenti begins at 20:00 at the Ethnographic Museum of Avgoru.
