Feeded with words, intimate experiences and a performance and choreographic writing, the show mixes direct addresses, stories, dance and collective energy to make hear trajectories crossed by the contradictions of our time. Family, sexuality, inheritance, violence, desire, vulnerability: all the sensitive areas explored here without didactic, but with intensity, humour and frontality.
On stage, the bodies speak as much as the words. The band becomes choir, confrontation, support, self-exhibition. In this movement, La Tendresse does not seek to give a definition of "the man of today", but to open up gaps: towards other ways to dwell in one's place, to love, to bind one another, to escape the archetypes that may have shaped our imaginations.
Back from the cartoons, Julie Berès composes a vibrant, political and deeply sensitive piece that questions less a frozen identity than a possibility of transformation. A way to move the lines of patriarchy, and to make the scene a place of questioning and reinvention, which lends hope.
