10 YEARS TO REVIVE CULTURE
La Place in 10 years has become an indispensable player in the cultural landscape of Paris, Île‑de‑France and the whole country. This expression venue dedicated to hip‑hop, located in the very heart of Paris, arose from a strong desire: to provide this important cultural movement, its artists and audience with a space that meets their needs — 1,400 m² of area for creating, transmitting and spreading culture.
Over the years we have welcomed several thousand artists, dancers, musicians, graffiti‑artists, collectives, professionals and enthusiasts. We have seen new talents emerge, supported careers, facilitated meetings and helped better understand this central cultural movement of our time.
FESTIVAL IN OUR IMAGE: MULTIDIMENSIONAL, VIBRANT AND GENEROUS
During 10 days, from October 2 to 11, 2026, we will turn each of our halls into a living festival, conceived as a big folk and unifying party. Through this event we will gather music, dance, visual arts, presenting a unique immersive exhibition that combines painting, three‑dimensional works, video and photography, as well as exceptional evenings of concerts, club sets, battles and dance shows.
Historical French rap and the new generation, African and Caribbean scenes, dance, graffiti, visual arts, DJ‑sets and original creations will intersect in a program reflecting the richness of hip‑hop. Our goal is to bring communities together at La Place, build bridges between disciplines and offer the audience a holistic experience at the heart of the aesthetics shaping our identity.
COLLECTIVE CELEBRATION, A NEW CHAPTER
Our 10 years are a symbolic milestone: the opening of a new chapter. True to the spirit of La Place, we have conceived these 10 days of celebration collectively! To mark the transition to the next decade, we have joined forces with 10 partners, event producers, collectives and media who have left a mark in our history.
During the ten days artists, audience, partners and industry representatives will gather to celebrate what makes our cultures strong: creativity, performances, boldness and the ability to forge connections. And also together to envision the future.
