The birth of shared gardens: transatlantic dialogues between New York and Paris

Shared gardens appeared in France at the beginning of the 21st century under the impulse of activists inspired by their discovery of the New York community gardens in particular. The two speakers will describe the political and cultural background of the collective gardens of Grosse Apple and Paris and will discuss the transatlantic dialogue between actors on both sides of the Atlantic.
The Golden Goutte rips off the bitumen Garden Festival
shared is a fall event not to be missed at the Goutte d'or, programmed by a collective of associations, in partnership with the Université Paris Nanterre, the Goutte d'or library and the Institut des Cultures d'Islam.
He
includes conferences, walks through the gardens and green spaces of the
neighbourhood, botanical drawing, gathering and cooking workshops,
exhibitions of photos and drawings, screenings of films.
The collective organiser of this festival includes the five gardens
shared by the district: Aziza and Bashung Gardens (Green Goutte), Univert
(Halage), the Open Table Garden (The Open Table) the Garden of
The Assumption (Art&A), the Golden Goutte Library, Virginia Milliot
Urban anthropologist (Université Paris Nanterre), Collective 4C and
the Grain of Gardens association, as well as the Institute of Cultures of Islam, the children of the Golden Goutte.
