Already in the 19th century, the links between cooking and opera were very close... And in this "syrico-spiced concert for young and great gourmets" – as Violaine Fournier and Cyril Louge say, at the stoves of this gouley show – each kitchen utensil becomes an instrument. If the kitchen clerks run under the golds of the Grand Foyer, the spectators will have the opportunity to put their hands to the dough by laughing, singing and applauding, because the ingredients of this participatory recipe are also in the room!
The occasion to discover or rediscover the great classics of opera, but rather in the way "modern cuisine" than "butter potatoes" : indeed, with a counterpoêle, a flute-louche, an oven that plays harp, a balafon made of bottles of syrup and an oud made thanks to a saucepan, the melodies will also sound rap, techno or music of the world.
