What would become of our world if even angels could no longer fly? By imagining this disturbing future, the director illuminates our present. In a manned darkness, an almost unreal light emerges and reveals suspended bodies, engaged in a high intensity aerial writing.
Disequilibrium figures, silhouettes in search of elevation, hair coats hung on the hangers, angels fallen from the sky: each wave, between fall and aspiration. The tone, subtly tragicomic, fits into a singular cinematic aesthetic. Between shadow and poetry, a fragile humanity tries to snatch out of a forced world. Circus, dance and intertwining theatre with remarkable mastery.
